Abbey Flyers - Runners Up - Division 2

Abbey Flyers have secured promotion for the second consecutive season by finishing as runners-up in Division 2. This is a great achievement for the club in only its second year in Herts League. It has been a tricky season for the Abbey Flyers squad as they lost a number of players to injury during the campaign. Fortunately, the team has been able to call on some talented players from the Abbey Flyers teams playing in the Welwyn & Hatfield Netball League, a testament to the club’s strength and depth. Division 2 was hard-fought this season with the battle for promotion continuing right up to the final weekend. Abbey Flyers held their nerve in their last game, recording a 17-goal win, ensuring they finished in second place on goal difference. Congratulations to the Abbey Flyers squad:

Omega 2 - Winners - Division 3

A fantastic season of netball, enjoyed by the whole squad. Some great, competitive games throughout the season, which was well organised as usual by the Herts County League.
We're pleased to bounce back into Division 2 after being relegated last season. Some spectacular results for us, particularly scoring over 1000 goals across the season. Thanks to all the umpires, scorers, supporters and organisers of this fantastic league and of course thanks to all the teams we have played this season. |
Wormley Red - Winners - Division 4

Wormley Reds are thrilled to have won division 4 after their second season in the Hertfordshire county league.
The season has been highly consistent for the team both in attack and defence and the depth and strength of the squad has ensured quality performances game after game. We were formed on the back of a 'Back to Netball' course and have expanded over the years adding both youthful energy and experienced players, a special mention to our super utility Aussie girl who we will hugely miss when she returns to Australia in August, and our 3 mother daughter combinations. Overall a fantastic season and a fabulous group of ladies who love the game and don't take themselves too seriously. |
